PLATEAUX GALLERY

Founded in 1996 by the furniture designer Leo Duval, Plateaux Gallery specializes in the exhibition and sale of contemporary applied art with studio glass being a dominant feature. The gallery represents many internationally acclaimed glass artists such as Jon Kuhn and Rick Eggert with particular emphasis on Eastern European glass featuring leading-edge sculptures by Vladimir Zbynovsky, Oliver Lesso, Tomas Hlavicka, Zoltan Bohus, and Peter Botos, to name a few.

After twelve years’ duration in an expansive and minimalist space at the Tower Bridge Piazza region, the gallery moved to London’s affluent Mayfair district in 2008 and eventually in 2021 the gallery moved into its current location in Knightsbridge. Plateaux has grown from strength to strength to become the leading specialist in studio glass with a selection of functional as well as sculptural works.

Exhibitions within our London showrooms highlight new art by premier glass and bronze artists whilst always pursuing promising talent from newcomers. Plateaux Gallery prevails as an unequaled source of contemporary glass art in London and indeed in the UK. This master-level quality of work keeps on inciting premeditated and more than often spontaneous sales from collectors as well as museums. The gallery is also an inspiration for high ranking interior designers that pursue an exclusive look for their clients.
